Catch-up Time

A while ago we took a little vacation with the Hales' family to Las Vegas.  We actually went because Jesse's uncle died so we went for the funeral.  It was such nice weather and it was so nice to have a little getaway.  We went swimming at our condo and my kids had a great time playing with all their cousins.  We also took some time to go see Hoover Dam.  Me and Jesse had never seen it before and they had just opened a new bridge. It was such a cool thing to see.  It was really amazing.  Ashto and Addy weren't too excited to see anything, they were just happy to be outside.

This is what the bridge looks like from down below on the dam.  It's kind of awesome.


We also took a day and went up to Logan with my family to see my sister and her husband and then we headed out to Hardware Ranch.  It's this place up the canyon in Logan where this huge elk herd comes every winter and they feed them and kind of take care of the elk.  So you get to go on a sleigh ride out through the elk and see them up close.  It's kind of fun little thing to do.  Ashton and Addy thought the elk were way cool and they also really like the big horses that were pulling our sleigh.  My camera died half way through so I didn't very many pictures.
